Giving to the Cowgirl
There are many ways to make a gift to the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame:
Outright Gifts – gifts in the form of cash, through a check or credit card are always welcome.
Gifts of Stock – the Cowgirl accepts gifts of stock or securities. Call the development office for details on making the gift.
Personal Will - a wonderful way to make a contribution to the Cowgirl Museum…and so easy too. A will or bequest is simply a legal declaration of a person’s wishes regarding the disposal of his or her property or estate after death. The most common types of charitable bequests are:
- Outright – a gift of a specific amount or specific asset.
- Percentage – a percentage of the assets (such as ten percent (10%), one-fourth (1/4).
- Rest, residue and remainder – all that remains after debts, taxes, and all outright bequests have been made. Your attorney can make this provision by including a bequest in your will or estate plan, or by means of an amendment (codicil), to your present will. The bequest should be made to:
